For Print Stuff I screenprinted these little postcards and greetings cards, based off the papercut cards I had made before.
POSITIVES:
- Effort put into them- even screen printed the face, which gives a professional feel
- Choice to use negative space and minimise the overlay makes the text more legible from a distance
NEGATIVES:
- The illustration isn't very 'me' it's a little too commercial and cliché for my taste, but it's a good experience of trying something more sellable
- I rushed the printing a little, which means there's a little ink on the backs etc, and could be cleaner overall
WHAT NEXT:
- Think about how to incorporate type into my work more
- Develop more designs which could be sold at fairs etc.
