I see faces- Group feedback

Crit feedback:
- Looser colour, try colour leaking through, e.g. copic marker
- Scope for developing into other media- such as a spoon wrapped in layers of wool with facial features
- Should try to be small and repetitive, maybe not have a start/finish
- Responses to sharpening pencil idea ware good, and they liked how simple it was
- Also liked the bears in jumpers, and the humour behind this, so maybe look at a link of unravelling, with jumper undoing and pencil being sharpened-maybe other media of pencil sharpenings

What I'm going to do next:
- Explore digital media as it isn't something I'm very confident with- either illustrator or graphics tablet
- Look at movement within simplistic ideas such as pencil rotating and emotion portrayed by face
- Sketch out more story boards to see how movement will fit with imagery

I found this group feedback really helpful as I was able to validate my ideas and see how they work from other peoples view. I now feel confident in being able to explore a few of my ideas more thoroughly before settling on a final theme. However one thing I am sure on is that I want them all to be fairly simple in their movement in order to show the crafting of them.

How to make a gif:
Today we had a lecture based on how to make a gif and what the specific outcome requirements are for this project.
Video to gif -> import- video frames to layers -> selected range only to compress and and roughly every 2 frames
Colours can be reduced to compress file size at saving

Criteria:
1. Digital- editing photos, digital collage, vectors, photoshop
2. Hand drawn/made- light box/flip book- most laborious
3. 3D/Lens- animate model or puppet- make and wear costume
