Colour and tone task

Aim
This was a very simple task about looking at colour, so I chose the brightest colours in my wardrobe, which was actually surprisingly monotonous! We had to create a colour palette based on an outfit which I did using the Adobe Colour website.

Intent
I found this exercise very interesting, as it was a quick way to see how colours I normally wear work together as their stripped back, flat colours. Normally I create quite contrasting colour palettes, so I wanted to see how more muted, harmonious ones would work in this format.

Evaluation
I found this exercise very useful, as I was able to explore colour combinations which I wouldn't normally use. In general I hate having my photo taken, and struggle to keep a straight face when it's a staged photo, so I got my friends to act as 'art directors' which led to this cringey photo. I quite like the resultant colour palette as it is verging on a split complimentary scheme with a strong accent colour of orange.
