Greetings from- Final changes

My aims today were to just tweak the colours and shapes slightly to create designs that I am happy with, I started by creating a few colour palettes on illustrator which were cohesive but stood out. I then asked a few of my peers their opinion on which worked the best and decided on the most successful one.

Top line, original colours, bottom tones are revisions:
Wanted to only slightly change my original colours to make
them more cohesive but keep the diversity
A more turquoise blue and a softer pink make the colours
more equal and ensure they don't fight each other
Sharpening the green and yellow slightly so that they still
stand out against the fairly strong grey
Initial designs, before colour alterations
Accidentally made this effect, quite like how different it
looks, but the shells loose their presence
With softer, less competitive grey
With revised colours- final design
I knew I didn't want to change the colour pathways too much as I think they go well together whilst still being different enough to carve a new identity for their city.

I think spending this time looking solely at colour was extremely beneficial, as I have been able to very finely tune the shades to reflect the tone I want the postcards to convey.
